Located just over the border in England, this attractive historic coastal town features many interesting streets to explore, beach walking, and terrific views of the famous Royal Border Bridge, which carries the main London-Edinburgh railway line across the River Tweed.

The main line from Edinburgh passes through attractive countryside and skirts the clifftops north of Berwick, giving spectacular views of the North Sea Coastline.
